This large two-volume set remains the only critical edition of the most important Mandaic text and main holy book, the Ginza or Sidra Rabba. The text, in Petermann's Mandaic handwriting, is in vol. 1, the critical notes in vol. 2. Petermann's edition is significant not least because he included the important colophons for the text.
