This work is the last of the Scottish theologian and geologist Hugh Miller of the Free Church of Scotland. Testimony of the Rocks extols the harmony of natural theology found in the new geology of the nineteenth century with the revelation in the Books of Moses. Miller presents the new geology, the Mosaic vision of creation, the harmony between the two, and the uses of geology in the argument from design.
