The Gorgias Co-Publication Program helps independent publishers and content holders make their content (books, journals, digitized books and manuscripts, archives, etc.) available to a wider market worldwide. The program does not require any investment from the original publisher or content holder.
How Does it work?
You simply provide Gorgias Press with your content either in PDF or hard-copy format. If you have your catalog available electronically, you can also send us an electronic file that contains metadata (authors, titles, book descriptions, etc.). Gorgias Press takes on the project from there, produces the books, and makes them available through a wide range of distribution channels in North America and elsewhere.
If you are actively selling your publications or making them available online (free or for charge), you may continue to do so. Gorgias does not replace what you are doing now with your own content. We simply add a new market for your content.
Content holder with 25 or more volumes get royalties on all net sales. The more volumes one has to provide, the more the royalties will be.
What Sort of Things Can I Give Gorgias to Publish?
Any type of content with scholarly integrity. This includes a backlist of books, a journal, a digital collection of printed books or manuscripts, or other archival material. If you have another type of content, please contact us.
How Do I Become Part of This Program?
It is simple. We have standard contract agreements which your organization signs. Then you send us your backlist or content in either PDF or hard-copy format. We also need from you a spreadsheet of the items with their titles, authors, book descriptions, etc. We take care of the rest for you!
