This is the first musical collection made for various funeral services. The songs include hymns chanted during the funerals of clergy, laypeople and children. Track 6 gives the moving 'farewell' ritual that takes place during the funeral of clergy, where the deceased is carried on the shoulders of clergy and taken to the four walls of the church for a final farewell. The booklet gives the text of hymns in Syriac and German translation.
