John Henry Jowett (1864-1923) was an influential clergyman at the turn of the century. After receiving theological training at Edinburgh and Oxford Universities, he served parishes in England until recruited to Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York. He returned to London’s Westminster Chapel for his final appointment.
