A world-recognized expert in Coptic studies, Crum spent much of his career cataloguing Coptic materials. In this historic catalogue, Crum presents the Coptic monuments of the Museum of Cairo. Walter Ewing Crum (1865-1944) was a noted Egyptologist and Coptologist. He catalogued the Coptic manuscripts of the John Rylands Library and the British Museum. His Coptic Dictionary is still a standard reference in the field.
