The Syriac text and Latin translation of the fragments presented in the present article were previously published by G. Bickell. The text of the manuscript presents fragments of an Anaphora from the East Syriac tradition, and was therefore published as representative of the Eastern Syriac liturgy. However, the manuscript containing the Syriac text was damaged and therefore required some conjecture to replace missing words and letters. After careful study of the manuscript, R.H. Connolly disagreed with several of Bickell’s conjectures and subsequent translations. Thus, Connolly publishes here a new version of the Syriac text with his own emendations and conjectures. Connolly also provides a Latin translation of the Syriac text and an extended set of notes to provide the rationale for his editorial, conjectural and translational decisions.
