Among the numerous works of Maphrian and polymath of the Syriac Renaissance Barhebraeus (1225-1286) is his critical and doctrinal commentary on Scripture known as the Storehouse of Mysteries; it is based on the Peshitta, but the learned author also often makes observations on other versions and variant readings. The present volume contains the Syriac text of this work for the Gospel of Matthew. The text is given without translation or introduction.
