This work, written by a court chaplain of the Lutheran Church in Prussia, explains divine love and the nature of Christian redemption. Sartorius combines theology and ethics, regarding their separation as Pelagianism. Section topics include God, creation, divinity, sin, Christ as Reconciler, the new obedience (or Divine Love), love in suffering and death, and the Last Judgment and triumph of divine love. Translation of sections are published separately by year and are abridged.
