This is the Second Book of Enoch, which survives in Old Church Slavonic. An introduction describes the two textual traditions, and both versions are translated. Events include: Enoch's visit to Heaven, his instruction in the mysteries of the Universe and of cosmology by the angels and by God himself, his ethical instructions to his sons, the Exaltation of Melchizedek on the priesthood of Methusaleh, Nir (brother of Noah) and Melchizedek, and Melchizedek's miraculous birth and survival of the Flood.
