However, its Latin language and the ordering of words according to triliteral Semitic roots make its use difficult for most students and scholars. This volume presents the Lectionary readings from the epistles according to the liturgical rite of the Syrian Orthodox Church. The text is presented in a vocalized Serto text with readings separated by section headings in red font. The readings are offered in order according to the Syrian Orthodox liturgical calendar. Two introductions to the text are included to orient the reader to the liturgical material, the first by Julius Yeshu Çiçek, former Metropolitan of Central Europe, and the second by Sebastian Brock and George Kiraz.
