The book of Ecclesiastes (Qohelet) has provoked many writers throughout the years to ponder the meaning of the phrase "everything is meaningless" and interpret it within their own context. The present volume includes three such attempts, in the form of metrical memre, each by a different author from a different historical setting: the first is by Ephrem the Syrian, the second by Jacob of Serug, and the third by John of Mosul. The volume is edited and introduced by Julius Yeshu Çiçek, former metropolitan of Central Europe. Table of Contents | |
