An edited transcript of an Georgian martyrology, with page-by-page French translation; from a manuscript copy found at Mount Sinai, collated with a manuscript from Tiflis. The original text was much longer (the table of contents is included); these nine chapters contain the life of Saint Stephen, the first martyr, two homilies on him by the sixth-century Patriach Gregory of Antioch, and the lives of Saints Peter and Paul. They reveal much about Armenian influence on the Georgian church, and about the continuing ecclesiastical attitude to the Jews.
