Throughout the history of Christianity, many have set about the task of composing a comprehensive and coherent work of theology that summarizes and explains basic tenets of Christian belief. The present work is another attempt at the same task, though this work is unique from many others because it was composed in Arabic in the context of Muslim Egypt. Moreover, it is a theology from the Syriac Orthodox perspective. Thus, the topics of discussion and the way these topics are presented and discussed are quite different from systematic theologies from the western perspective. This work was translated into Syriac by Philoxenos Yuhana Dolabani, and the Syriac text is presented here in vocalized Serto script. The volume includes a preface by Julius Yeshu Çiçek.
