After cataloguing the Syriac manuscript collection of the British Museum,also reprinted by Grogias Press, William Wright turned his attention to cataloging the Syriac manuscript collection of the University of Cambridge. This Cambridge collection includes manuscripts that were formerly in private hands, most notably the manuscripts of John Moore, Bishop of Ely, which were were presented to the University by King George I in 1715; other collections include those of Robert Huntington (1637-1701), Claude Buchanan, the S.P.C.K. collection, and manuscripts collected in South India (Kerala).
