Emily Jane O'Dell

Emily Jane O'Dell is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Humanities Center at Harvard University, where she teaches in the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations. She holds a PhD, MA, and MFA from Brown University, where she served as the Chief Epigrapher of the Cairo University-Brown University Abu Bakr Epigraphic Survey in the western cemetery of the Great Pyramids in Giza, Egypt. She is the first Egyptologist to thoroughly research ancient Egyptian emotion.
