Several works of the famous ecclesiastical author Eusebius survive, whether whole or in part, in Syriac translation. Samuel Lee (1783-1852), once Regius Professor of Hebrew at Cambridge, presents the Syriac text of one such work, to which the editor gives the subtitle, “The Divine Manifestation of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ”, of which only a fragment survives in Greek. The Greek text was completely unknown in Lee's context. The editor gives a short preface and then the Syriac text. Lee published an English translation of this Syriac text the following year.
