Ted Gorton is a London-based writer and translator on Middle East themes. He holds an MPhil (Comparative Literature) and a DPhil (Oriental Studies: Arabic) from Oxford University. He has published many articles in scholarly journals, mostly about Hispano-Arabic poetry, two volumes of Arabic poetry in translation, and (most recently) a reasoned anthology of writing about Lebanon.
