Tamás Biró, a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Amsterdam, received his degrees in Hebrew studies, theoretical linguistics and physics from the Eötvös University in Budapest, Hungary, as well as in Jewish civilization from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. Subsequently, he obtained his Ph.D. in computational linguistics in Groningen. His current research interests include cognitive models of language, culture and religion.
