Among the many works of Maphrian and polymath of the Syriac Renaissance Barhebraeus (1225-1286) is his critical and doctrinal commentary on Scripture known as the Storehouse of Mysteries. Although it is primarily based on the Peshitta, the author also makes observations on other versions and variant readings. This volume contains the Syriac text of this work for the Gospel of Matthew.
